By dancing in the healing meadow of the Burgas salt pans, eight dancers explore the collective purification and build a utopian world in which youth and beauty have overcome the fear of the transience of life. Solace takes a look at the fearless faces of a world where the Fall did not take place.

 

Emiliya Toncheva is a freelance actress and a dance artist. She has an Acting degree from the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing as a student on a full scholarship. Since returning to Bulgaria, she is studying Dance Theater at the New Bulgarian University. Emiliya has taken part in numerous dance performances and workshops in the country and abroad, and in 2022 she made her choreographic debut SHIFT at YALTA ART ROOM. Her debut dance film Solace was selected for Palm Springs International Dance Festival in California and for Burgas International Film Festival.
